FDM TACTICAL PRIVACY STATEMENT

This privacy statement discloses the privacy practices for web sites and applications built and maintained by FDM Tactical.

Information Collection and Use
FDM Tactical is the sole custodian of the information collected on our sites. We will not sell, share, or rent this information to others in ways different from what is disclosed in this statement. FDM Tactical collects information from our users at several different points on our websites.

Billing
We request billing information from the user. Here a user must provide contact information (like name and billing address) and financial information (like credit card number, expiration date). This information is used for billing purposes and to fill customer's service requests. If we have trouble processing a payment, this contact information is used to get in touch with the user.

Log Files
We use IP addresses to analyze trends, administer the site, track user's movement, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. IP addresses are not linked to personally identifiable information.

This web site contains links to other sites. Please be aware that FDM Tactical is not responsible for the privacy practices of such other sites. We encourage our users to be aware of when they leave our site and to read the privacy statements of each and every web site that collects personally identifiable information. This privacy statement applies solely to information collected by our websites.

Newsletter
Although not currently implemented, if a user wishes to subscribe to our newsletter, we will ask for contact information such as name and email address.

Surveys & Contests
From time-to-time our site may request information from users via surveys or contests. Participation in these surveys or contests is completely voluntary and the user therefore has a choice whether or not to disclose this information. Information requested may include contact information (such as name and shipping address), and demographic information (such as zip code, age level). Contact information will be used to notify the winners and award prizes. Survey information will be used for purposes of monitoring or improving the use and satisfaction of this site.

Security
This website takes every precaution to protect our users' information. When users submit sensitive information via our websites, their information is protected both online and offline. When our registration form asks users to enter sensitive information (such as credit card number and/or social security number), that information is encrypted and is protected with the best encryption software in the industry - SSL. While on a secure page, such as our registration forms, the lock icon on the bottom of Web browsers such as Firefox and Microsoft Internet Explorer becomes locked, as opposed to un-locked, or open, when you are just 'surfing'. While we use SSL encryption to protect sensitive information online, we also do everything in our power to protect user-information offline. All of our users' information, not just the sensitive information mentioned above, is restricted in our offices. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, our billing clerk or a customer service representative) are granted access to personally identifiable information. Our employees must use password-protected screen-savers when they leave their desk. When they return, they must re-enter their password to re-gain access to your information. Furthermore, ALL employees are kept up-to-date on our security and privacy practices. Every quarter, as well as any time new policies are added, our employees are notified and/or reminded about the importance we place on privacy, and what they can do to ensure our customers' information is protected. Special Offers
We send all new users a welcoming email to verify password and username. Established members will occasionally receive information on products, services, special deals, and a newsletter. Out of respect for the privacy of our users we present the option to not receive these types of communications. Please see our choice and opt-out below. Site and Service Updates We also send the user site and service announcement updates. Members are not able to un-subscribe from service announcements, which contain important information about the service. We communicate with the user to provide requested services and in regards to issues relating to their account via email or phone. Correction/Updating Personal Information If a user's personally identifiable information changes (such as your zip code), or if a user no longer desires our service, we will endeavor to provide a way to correct, update or remove that user's personal data provided to us. This can usually be done by telephone or mail to make any changes to their account.

Choice/Opt-out
Our users are given the opportunity to 'opt-out' of having their information used for purposes not directly related to our site at the point where we ask for the information. Users who no longer wish to receive our newsletter, or promotional materials from our partners, may opt-out of receiving these communications by contacting us at 840-446-3268. In all cases, a user may make an 'opt-out' request by contacting support. Users of our site are always notified when their information is being collected by any outside parties. We do this so our users can make an informed choice as to whether they should proceed with services that require an outside party, or not.

Notification of Changes
If we decide to change our privacy policy, we will publish those changes as part of our user logon process so our users are always aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we disclose it. If at any point we decide to use personally identifiable information in a manner different from that stated at the time it was collected, we will notify users by way of an email. Users will have a choice as to whether or not we use their information in this different manner. We will use information in accordance with the privacy policy under which the information was collected.

For products that are in stock, we ship within 24-72 hours from the time you place your order. We ship via FedEx in the contiguous U.S. only. For any orders outside the continental U.S. please call us toll-free at 855-651-8943 for shipping charges. Customers will be unable to opt for the carrier of their choosing.

The shipping cost for orders containing particularly heavy items - such as breaching tools, breaching tool kits, etc., - will be calculated according to the shipping distance and weight. You will be contacted prior to order fulfillment for orders that meet these criteria.


Exceptions to Our Shipping and Delivery Policy
The following exceptions will require extended shipment and/or delivery times:
  1. Products that are normally stocked but that are temporarily out of stock.
  2. Products that are not normally stocked and must therefore be special ordered.
  3. Items requiring special attention in adherence to legal and/or delivery service guidelines.
Under such circumstances, you will be emailed regarding the specifics of your situation.

Delays in Shipping
On occasion, we may experience an unforeseen delay in the shipment of your order. In such a case, you will be notified via email by FDMTACTICAL.COM. When delayed shipments become ready to ship, we will email you unless you contact us and choose to cancel any portion of your order that has not been shipped.

Shipping Timeframes
  • Standard Shipping: Our standard method of shipping is Fed Ex ground shipping. You may expect to receive your order within 4-8 business days from the date of shipment.
  • PO Box Shipping: We cannot deliver to PO Boxes. During checkout, please be sure to provide us with a physical shipping address.
  • International Shipping: Currently, we do ship to International or U.S. Territory locations such as Canada, Puerto Rico, Mexico, or any destination outside the contiguous United States. You must call our toll-free number: 855-651-8943 for shipping charges.

If Your Order Does Not Arrive On Time
If your order does not arrive within the specified delivery timeframe please let us know. Tracking information is provided via email for most orders. On occasion, orders may become lost in transit, delivered to the wrong address, or consigned to a person other than you. This may include a family member, neighbor, co-worker, or property manager. Packages may also be left at your front door, garage, or in a location hidden from plain view. If for some reason, your delivery has not been received within the specified timeframe and cannot be located with the tracking information provided, please contact us toll-free at 855-651-8943.

Tracking Your Order
Tracking information is provided via email for most orders. If tracking information is provided, you can track your order online at fedex.com.

If your order has shipped but no tracking information was provided via email, then know that your order has been shipped regardless. It can take up to 24 hours to update tracking information. Also, please allow up to 10 days for most Standard Shipping orders with exception to those special circumstances mentioned in the "Exceptions to Our Shipping and Delivery Policy" section on this page.

FDM TACTICAL RETURNS / REFUND / CANCELLATION POLICY

If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, simply return the item to us within 30 days of receipt in its original condition with your sales slip and tags off of the items. If the item has been worn or washed or has been customized in any of the following ways: with emblems, altered; silkscreen or embroidery please call us toll-free at 855-651-8943 to advise us of the return and the reason for the return. Depending on the nature of the return a small service charge may be applied to your return. If the packing slip is no longer available, call us toll-free at 855-651-8943 to discuss your return so that we can be ready to receive the items properly. Please return the item(s) via a traceable or insured method to prevent the package from being lost in the mail. We are not responsible for returned items that are lost in transit.

Providing quality products to professionals who protect and serve the public is FDM Tactical's mission. If you aren't satisfied with a newly purchased item, simply return it to us so we can repair it, replace it, or refund your money. For online orders simply follow the instructions on the reverse side of the packing slip.

A deduction from your return credit or refund amount will be made in an amount equal to our standard return shipping rates in effect. If your return credit/refund is in an amount less than the applicable shipping cost, your original pay method will be charged the difference. FDM TACTICAL Return Policy for FDM Online
We will refund or credit the value of the item and any taxes you were charged (except where an item is repaired and returned to you). Original shipping charges are nonrefundable unless the return is related to our error. Special order items or items that have been altered, decorated, engraved, customized, or otherwise embellished at the request of a customer cannot be returned unless the return is related to our error. All clearance items are sold "as is" and cannot be returned. A returns authorization (RA) number is required for ALL purchases made by government agency or business customers; please contact your assigned Account Manager or customer service representative. Many products sold by FDM Tactical have manufacturer's warranties. For returns relating to matters covered by a manufactures' warranty, you can contact the manufacturer directly or contact us toll-free at 855-651-8943 to coordinate the repair or return on any such item. A copy of the original packing slip should accompany all returns or the return must include the original invoice number associated with the return sale.


FDM TACTICAL In-Store Return Policy
Refunds:
Refunds will be made for In-stock (not special ordered) un-used, and un-altered merchandise that is in original condition and returned within 15 days of purchase with the original receipt and item tags.

Exchanges and store credit:
Exchanges or store credit will be issued for in-stock, un-used, and un-altered merchandise that is in original condition and returned within 60 days of purchase with the original receipt and item tags.

Special orders:
Uniforms (not made-to-order), footwear, duty gear, and other merchandise may be returned with a 25% restocking fee if the item is un-used, un-altered, and returned within 15 days of purchase with the original receipt.

Items that are not eligible for return are:
Pants that have been hemmed shorter than 30" inseam or have had other alterations Shirts that have had alterations other than emblems sewn on Waterproof outerwear that has had any alterations or embellishments Dress uniform coats that have had sleeve striping applied Shipping charges are not refundable.

Method of refund:
Refunds over $100 on sales paid by cash or check will be refunded by a company check mailed from our office within 10 business days of return. Orders paid with a credit or debit card will be refunded by the same method as the payment. Your original receipt must accompany your return along with any tags that where on the item. Merchandise discounts will be incorporated into refunds.

Cancellation Policy:
On-line orders may be cancelled prior to the shipment of the items. Please call our toll-free number, 855-651-8943, as soon as you wish to cancel. Shipments will typically be sent 24 to 72 hours after the order has been made. In-store special orders must be cancelled prior to any shipments being made by our distributors. If shipment has been made shipping costs will not be refunded to the shipping address nor cost to return.

MALE
  • SHIRT/COATS/JACKETS
    CHEST: Measure well up under arms, across shoulder blades and over fullest part of chest. Hold tape firmly, but not tightly. Be sure tape is level and straight across back. Stand naturally.

    NECK: Measure around neck where a buttoned shirt would fit. Be sure tape is neither tight enough to choke nor loose enough to sag.

    UPPER ARM: Measure dominant arm. muscle flexed, at fullest point.

    FOREARM: Measure dominant arm approximately 2" below elbow.

    LENGTH:
      a.) Shirt & Hip Length Coats/Jackets: Measure front from top of shoulder (highest point of shoulder next to collar) close to neck down to bottom of trouser fly.

      b.) Waist Length Coats/Jackets: Measure front from top of shoulder (highest point of shoulder next to collar) close to neck down to bottom of duty belt.

    SLEEVE: Measure from middle of back of neck at point across the shoulder and around point of bent elbow to wrist bone at point.

  • TROUSERS
    WAIST: Measure over shirt, not over trousers, at the position you normally wear your trousers. Hold the tape firmly but not tightly.

    HIP (SEAT): Measure around fullest part of seat. Snug not tight. a.) Note distance from waist at side to fullest part of hip/seat.

    INSEAM: Measure well-fitting trousers of same style along inner seam from crotch seam at point to bottom of leg at point. The finished hem length should be from 1/2" - 1" above the top of your shoe heel. Styles worn with higher heels require extra length.

    OUTSEAM: If possible, put on shoes you will be wearing with your uniform. If that is not possible, wear a similar style shoe. Measure from the bottom of your waistband to exactly where you would like your trousers to touch your shoe.

    THIGH: Measure around thigh (parallel to ground) 1" below crotch. Hold tape snug, but not too tight.


FEMALE
  • SHIRT/COATS/JACKETS
    BUST: Measure around fullest part of bust, holding tape gently. Keep tape straight and level.

    NECK: Measure around neck where a buttoned shirt would fit. Be sure tape is neither tight enough to choke nor loose enough to sag.

    UPPER ARM: Measure dominant arm, muscle flexed, at fullest point.

    FOREARM: Measure dominant arm approximately 2" below elbow.

    LENGTH:
      a.) Shirt & Hip Length Coats/Jackets: Measure front from top of shoulder (highest point of shoulder next to collar) close to neck down to bottom of trouser fly area.

    WAIST: Measure around the smallest part of your waistline, holding tape firmly, but not tightly. Keep the tape level and be sure to stand naturally.

    HIPS: Measure around the fullest part of seat. Snug, not tight.

    SLACKS INSEAM: Measure well-fitting trousers of same style along inner seam from crotch seam at point to bottom of leg. The finished hem length should be from 1/2-1" above the top of your shoe heel. Styles worn with higher heels require extra length.

    SLACKS OUTSEAM: If possible, put on the shoes you will be wearing with your uniform. If that is not possible, wear a similar style shoe. Measure from the bottom of your waistband to exactly where you would like your slacks to touch your shoe.

    SKIRT LENGTH: Measure from bottom of waistband down to exactly where you want the hem of the skirt to touch. Wear a similar style shoe that you plan to wear with your uniform.

    THIGH: Measure around thigh 1" below crotch, parallel to floor. Hold tape snug but not too tight.
